Who We Are

“We’re Christians only but not the only Christians.”

An American reformer once said of his denomination, “we’re Christians only but not the only Christians.” Over the years, that statement lost some of it’s power but rest assured at Graceway it’s been given new life! It’s not only what we believe, it’s part of who we are.

Our community is made up of people from all walks of life. From different socioeconomic, ethnic and denominational backgrounds and we each have our own story to tell and witness to give but what brings us together is Jesus. We believe Jesus is the Christ as promised in the Old Testament and documented in the New Testament. Our meetings are a celebration of His life, death and resurrection. He brought us together in unity and He holds us there.

Basically, this is who we are. We love Jesus and do our best to live by His teachings.  Our lives have been changed by His Love and we can’t hide it. We’re radically different people than we once were and we want the world to know that knowing Jesus can Change you as well.  When it’s all said and done, it’s not about “who we are” it’s about who “He” is.

Verse of the Day

“[Effective Prayer] “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” — Matthew 7:7-8 Listen to chapter Holy Bible.
